Job summary

City of Edina is seeking a Facility Supervisor for Centennial Lakes Park. This seasonal role focuses on delivering great service to park visitors while leading seasonal operations, coordinating events and managing the skating rink and rentals in winter.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, setting up events, assisting patrons and vendors, and ensuring buildings/grounds are safe and accessible. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of customer service, facility or event management experience.
• Valid Minnesota driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for staff and patrons.
• Supervise winter operations, events, building rentals and performances.
• Set up tables, chairs and equipment for events.
• Assist patrons, subcontractors and performers with setup needs.
• Monitor events and rentals and ensure park rules compliance.
• Perform regular walk-throughs of buildings and grounds.
• Provide onsite supervision to part-time staff.
• Complete accident and incident reports for management.
• Perform light custodial duties and light snow removal when needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot point-of-sale as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
