Job summary

The City of Edina is seeking a part-time Skate Rental and Concessions Attendant for Centennial Lakes. This seasonal position (6-20 hours per week) involves assisting customers at the concessions and rental areas, sharpening and cleaning skates, and maintaining a clean and orderly warming house and surroundings.

You will report to the Centennial Lakes Assistant Manager and Manager; the role runs through the winter season with a commitment to the posted duties and scheduled staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Assist customers at the concession stand and rental areas

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the concession stand and rental areas
• Sharpen and clean skates
• Maintain cleanliness in concessions and rental areas
• Perform general cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, benches and tables in the warming house area on a regular basis
• Empty trash cans as needed
• Operate cash registers in both the concession and rental areas
• Attend scheduled staff meetings
• Complete closing procedures, including cleaning, closing cash registers locking the building.
