Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker to help maintain Ohiopyle State Park. Responsibilities include basic building repairs, Grounds care, equipment operation, custodial tasks, and visitor assistance to keep facilities safe and welcoming.

The role is full-time seasonal from approximately March 2026 to November 2026 with no healthcare benefits, and telework is not available. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Build basic repairs to park buildings and facilities using carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related trades tools.
• Mow grass, trim brush, clean paved areas, plant trees, load materials, and maintain turf areas.
• Operate tractors, skid steers, zero turns, dump trucks, and other park equipment.
• Clean restrooms, sanitize facilities, service Clivus‑Multrum systems, and maintain cleanliness.
• Paint signs and buildings, clear drains, empty trash, assist with concrete work, and shovel snow.
• Provide helpful information to park visitors and complete required forms and records.
