Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Server to take and serve food and drink orders in a fast, courteous, and efficient manner in our dining room. You will ensure correct billing and provide excellent guest service aligned with company standards.

The role includes greeting guests, taking orders, delivering meals, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area. This is an entry-level position with focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits.
• Mathematics skills.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a polite, positive manner; takes beverage orders. Check patrons' identification to ensure minimum age for alcohol.
• Answer questions about the menu and take food orders; explain preparation methods and ingredients.
• Submit food orders into kitchen.
• Serve guests entrees in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Check on guests during meals and attend to their needs; process payments with accurate change.
• Perform clean-up duties after each service and set up for next meal.
• Keep tables clean and properly set up; stock service areas with supplies.
• Report gratuities per policy and law.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to management.
