Job summary

Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is seeking a seasonal parks and recreation liaison to assist with facility preparation, visitor services, grounds maintenance, and park operations. You will help provide safe, clean, and enjoyable outdoor recreation experiences at Forsyth County parks in Cumming, GA.

The position requires flexibility to work outdoors, including nights and weekends, with a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Ability to perform grounds and facility maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work outdoors, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic clerical and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor parks facilities and respond to safety concerns.
• Assist with grounds and custodial maintenance.
• Provide visitor services and assist with park operations.
• Operate hand tools as needed.
• Support other staff and departments as required.
