Responsibilities

• Provides direction, training, guidance and assistance to employees; coordinates daily work activities; organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work; monitors status of work, inspects completed work, and troubleshoots problem situations.
• Oversees staff compliance with codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures; ensures safety, monitors work environment and equipment; takes corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinates daily work activities; organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work; consults with staff on complex situations.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures; monitors work environment and safety equipment to protect staff and participants.
• Plans, organizes, conducts, and supervises athletic and recreational programs for the community at parks and facilities; manages seasonal staff and events.
• Assists with brochures, registration, events and facility reservations; schedules activities to avoid conflicts.
• Prepares performance reports; reviews and processes documentation; maintains knowledge of laws/regulations and trends; participates in training.
• Communicates with supervisors, staff, participants, vendors, and the public to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
