Job summary

Iron Heart Canning Company LLC in Monroe, CT is seeking a part-time/seasonal Packaging Assistant. You will set up and break down equipment, perform Clean-In-Place procedures, and help move cans to the line while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended shifts. onsite training will be provided, with opportunities to learn additional functions as operations expand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
• Understanding of mechanics.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up/take down heavy packaging equipment.
• Perform Cleaning-In-Place procedures to Iron Heart standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as labelers and coders.
• Maintain consistent quality checks throughout shifts.
• Keep equipment clean and compliant with policies.
• Coordinate with technicians and brewery staff.
• Safely operate and assist with packaging machinery.
