Job summary

Iron Heart Canning is seeking a skilled Packaging Technician to set up and break down equipment, perform Clean-In-Place procedures, and operate the canning line. Compensation starts at $20/hour with benefits including PTO, holidays, paid sick time, and health/vision insurance.

Responsibilities include transporting equipment, sanitation, and ensuring quality checks. Training is provided onsite, with opportunities for progression and on-site guidance for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
• One year of packing machine operator experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport and setup/takedown of heavy equipment to and from canning runs.
• Chemical mixing and sanitation procedures.
• Setting up and troubleshooting equipment such as labeler and date coder.
• Conducting consistent quality checks.
• Keeping equipment clean to standards.
• Collaborating with other technicians and brewery staff.
• Safely operating heavy packaging machinery and performing maintenance.
