Michaels in Colma, CA is seeking a store team member to help customers, process checkout, and support omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS. You’ll participate in truck unloading, stock replenishment, and maintaining a well-merchandised store.

The role emphasizes friendly, solution-oriented customer interactions, adherence to SOPs, and participation in rewards enrollment and VOC initiatives. Evening and weekend shifts are common in retail.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Able to bend, lift, and reach as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; follow cash handling standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram activities.
• Handle merchandise recovery and ensure in-stock, well-merchandised store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; maintain professional conduct.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
