Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a seasonal overnight/early morning Freight Team member for our Suffolk, VA store. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and assist customers with a fast, friendly checkout experience.

This role requires lifting, standing for long periods, and working nights, weekends, and early mornings. Responsibilities include merchandising, planograms, BOPIS/SFS support, and participating in safety and shrink programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and fast checkout experience
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties
• Engage customers on rewards program and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes: BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact professionally and be a role model for team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
