Job summary

Aspen Valley Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery department for a seasonal, full-time position in Aspen, Colorado. The OR RN will provide professional nursing care in the operating room, educate patients and families, and support the treatment plan in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The role requires ADN and an unrestricted Colorado RN license (ACLS/BLS preferred), with BSN/MSN options considered.

Qualifications

• ADN and an unrestricted CO RN license required or obtainable before start date.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtainable upon hire.
• Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional OR nursing care following standards and AVH policy.
• Educate patients and families on plan of care and disease management.
• Support the medical treatment plan and suggest changes as appropriate.
