Aspen Valley Health in Aspen, CO is hiring a full-time, seasonal Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a short-term assignment from Nov 30, 2026 to Jan 18, 2027. The OR RN will provide professional nursing care, support the treatment plan, and educate patients and families.

Ideal candidates have ADN, CO RN license, BLS; ACLS preferred; BSN/MSN and OR/Orthopedic scrub-circulating experience preferred; EPIC proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• ADN required and RN license in Colorado (or able to obtain).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS preferred; may be obtained prior to start date.
• BSN/MSN preferred; perioperative experience welcomed.
• Experience in OR settings and with EPIC preferred.
• Equivalent experience/education considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the OR per standards and policy.
• Use Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and family on plan of care and disease management.
• Support medical staff treatment plan and propose changes when needed.
• Contribute to continual quality improvement and teamwork.

We are currently hiring for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) within the Surgery department here at Aspen Valley Health.This is a short-term SEASONAL position with an anticipated start date of November 30, 2026 and an expected end date of January 18, 2027.Work Shift:Mids - 10 HourCompensation Range:$56.15 - $89.83Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications & RequirementsAssociate degree in Nursing (ADN)Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start dateBasic Life Support (BLS).
