Job summary

JCPenney is hiring a Seasonal Operations Associate to support store operations and deliver a great customer experience. This role involves early-morning tasks with the task team before the store opens, handling merchandise, signing, replenishment, and backroom organization.

You will assist customers, execute pricing/signage, and help fulfill online orders, contributing to the store’s merchandising plans and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail helpful.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced store setting.
• Willingness to be in early-morning shifts and pre-opening tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and answer questions to provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute pricing and signing to keep store merchandise accurately labeled.
• Restock and replenish merchandise to ensure availability and curb gaps on the sales floor.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and prepare it for the floor.
• Maintain clean, organized backroom and stockroom standards.
• Assist with online order pickup and fulfillment from jcpt.com.
• Help execute merchandise placement plans and maintain visual standards.
