Job summary

UPS is seeking a dedicated warehouse supervisor for a seasonal role in Texas. You will supervise, train, and develop workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance, maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.

You will lead with strong communication, manage resources for maximum output, and foster a positive, cooperative environment. The position requires flexibility, safety compliance, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg).

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement on all levels.
• Implements employee personal development plans as required to ensure the continuing professional growth of department personnel.
• Ensures all department employees receive specific and detailed orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching to support their continued development.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
