Job summary

Alterra is seeking an Operations Lead to guide a team of Ski Technicians in delivering ski rental equipment to guests in their accommodations. You will plan future shifts, ensure quality equipment, and help answer guest questions related to our services and products.

The role includes ownership, self-motivation, and potential growth sharing in the business. This seasonal, full-time position offers a base wage of $25 per hour, with a ski pass on start date and 401K matching for staff over 21.

Qualifications

• Strong, confident, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to balance time between sales and operations effectively through coaching and provided tools.
• Detail-oriented with good note taking skills.
• Ability to accept and deliver necessary feedback.
• Polished writing skills are a plus.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Previous management/leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-season shop setup.
• Weekly scheduling.
• Ski technician daily route planning.
• Hands on shop shifts coaching Team Leaders and Ski Technicians.
• Weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports and managers.
• Weekly resourcing reports.
