Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-2 years logistics industry experience preferred.
• 0-3 years experience in lead/supervisor/management role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for associates.
• Ensure associates have access to necessary tools and that tools are inspected and maintained.
• Lead productivity improvements by improving processes and efficiency of associate work.
• Collaborate with regional sites on safety, labor sharing and best practices.
• Plan and adjust daily workload and staffing to minimize unplanned overtime.
• Conduct shift/daily/weekly workload planning and volume forecasting (staffing, equipment, space).
• Communicate and enforce company policies (safety, accounting, regulatory, and administrative).
• Evaluate performance against job standards to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Explain SOPs and ensure smooth shift hand-offs and preshift meetings.
• Provide a professional environment with external customers and vendors such as drivers and dispatchers.
