Job summary

NW Service Enterprises, Inc. (NWS) is seeking an Assembly Technician to work on-site at local Retail Stores such as Home Depot, Lowe's, or Walmart, assembling merchandise and displays.

The role offers flexible scheduling with seasonal spikes in Spring/Summer and Holidays. Pay transitions to a per-piece rate after training, typically averaging $18–$25 per hour, with experienced techs earning more based on productivity.

Qualifications

• Day-shift/early morning availability.
• Self-motivated: able to work hard with minimal supervision.
• A mechanical aptitude: you are handy.
• Has Basic hand tools, cordless screw gun, or impact driver.
• A smartphone and e-mail address.
• Internet access via a smartphone or mobile device.
• Ability to pass a background test.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Reliable transportation.
• Capable of standing for extended periods.
• Kneel, bend, twist, and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Experience is a plus, but we will train.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair products and merchandise, using manufacturer instructions while adhering to retailer rules and guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service, building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
• Check in with Retailer management to confirm the build list and inventory.
• Generate and complete invoices daily.
• Report and communicate effectively with your Area Manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and leave clients with a clean build area.
