Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment in Oklahoma is seeking a Mutuel Cashier to sell and cash horse racing wagers in strict compliance with racing regulations and company policies. You will print programs and provide exceptional customer service to mutuel guests in the simulcast area.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience, plus the ability to obtain gaming licensing. Proficiency with totalizer equipment and standard office software is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to obtain gaming authority licensing.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Sells and cashes Mutuel tickets.
• Cashes IRS Mutuel tickets, completes W-2G information and validates and follows the process for NeWave or other tracking system.
• Prepares the simulcast rooms for daily activities including setting the decoders to the proper channels.
• Prints simulcast and live programs.
• Sales simulcast programs and racing forms using a point-of-sale system.
• Provides customer service to simulcast guests.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
