Job summary

Alterra is seeking a Sky House server to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our Schweitzer dining program. You will be the main link between kitchen and guests, delivering food and drinks and maintaining an inviting dining area.

Typical shift is 9:00am–4:00pm with open weekend/holiday hours. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and have basic computer skills on a Squirrel POS.

Qualifications

• 6+ months serving experience or more preferred.
• Basic math, English reading/writing.
• Wine knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions about items and ingredients.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Monitor tables, clear dishes, and reset for new guests.
• ID guests per Idaho liquor laws and monitor intoxication.
• Process payments and reconcile POS transactions.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and comply with safety guidelines.
• Maintain positive attitude and work with team to troubleshoot issues.
• Stay busy during slow times and handle side work.
