Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company’s Schweitzer location is seeking a Market Clerk for seasonal/full-time or part-time work. You will sell sundries, Schweitzer merchandise, ice cream, beer, and other beverages while adhering to Idaho alcohol laws. Must be 21+, able to work weekends/holidays, and keep the cash till balanced daily.

Responsibilities include friendly customer service, stocking, maintaining a clean area, and using the Squirrel POS. Training is provided for the Alcohol Beverage Certification.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to verify customer age for alcohol purchases.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, outgoing, and professional customer service.
• Verify customer age by checking identification for alcohol purchases.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and balance till daily.
• Restock goods and ensure a clean, organized work area.
• Operate POS software and process transactions accurately.
