Schweitzer is seeking a Seasonal Host to warmly greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and coordinate seating flow for a smooth dining experience.

The role requires availability nights and weekends, with typical shifts from 10:00am-4:00pm or 4:00pm-9:00pm, starting in late November and ending in April. Benefits include housing, health benefits, and staff discounts at Schweitzer.

Qualifications

• English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.

Responsibilities

• Manage Guest Flow: greet guests warmly, provide accurate wait times, manage seating and beverage service during waits.
• Seat Guests Thoughtfully: seat based on preferences, workload, and capacity; provide menus and highchairs as needed.
• Communicate with Team: relay special requests to servers and kitchen for smooth service.
• Support Guest Experience: thank guests at departure and invite return; assist with water refills.
• Assist with Restaurant Operations: clean and reset tables, assist with side work, maintain cleanliness.
