Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a seasonal bartender to prep and garnish drinks, serve guests, and handle transactions at on-mountain venues. You will stock, rotate perishables, and maintain a welcoming bar area while ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in a full-service bar. Flexible scheduling is required, with the season running through winter holidays and peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of full-service bar experience preferred.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish drinks according to recipes and portion control.
• Serve beverages to guests and check IDs to comply with laws and regulations.
• Process payments using the point-of-sale system, handle cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers.
• Stock and maintain the bar with necessary supplies, including beverages, paper products, and glassware.
• Manage and store perishable items to ensure product quality.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests.
• Perform mental math for accurate billing.
