Job summary

Macy's, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Associate (Vendor Paid Merchandiser) to drive sales and execute strategic merchandising initiatives in-store. You will suggest vendor products and maintain high merchandising standards to create a memorable shopping experience for customers.

Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays are available; full-time colleagues typically schedule 30+ hours per week, with part-time options 12-24 hours per week depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferred.
• Strong product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by sharing product knowledge, trends and style inspiration.
• Merchandise new deliveries from vendor(s) and follow brand-specific merchandise execution guides and standards.
• Communicate customer needs and shopping patterns on a regular basis to store leadership and vendor(s).
• Work with store teams to drive best practices for sales and execution.
• Ensure sales floor is properly signed for sales and markdowns.
• Follow store's audit policies and procedures.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues and customers.
