Job summary

Total Wine & More in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Seasonal Merchandiser to maximize inventory, stock displays, and fulfill online orders while assisting with curbside pickup and delivery as needed. You will provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers and participate in wine, spirits, and beer training.

Experience in retail and familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required, and compensation is hourly with benefits where

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience; 1+ years in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws - if delivery is added as an essential job function.
