Job summary

TJ Maxx in Chicago is seeking team members to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

You will support store operations, promote loyalty programs, follow procedures, and participate in safety, loss prevention, and merchandising standards.

The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced off-price retail environment with peers and supervisors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with customers.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Process and ring customer purchases/returns and handle change.
• Maintain merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Support store recovery and cleanliness throughout the day.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist in safety and loss prevention initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
