Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate at TJ Maxx in South Elgin, IL to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store.

You will follow loss prevention standards and support multiple areas of the store as needed. You will participate in merchandising, ring purchases, promote loyalty programs, and help with store recovery, while upholding safety and labor policies.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer per procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising procedures and standards.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following procedures.
• Participates in store recovery and maintenance of standards.
• Supports safety, loss prevention, and labor policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
