Job summary

CityMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients, register them and coordinate with the team for timely care. You will respond to questions with urgency and kindness on calls and in person, handling registrations and paperwork.

The role emphasizes patient-focused service, accurate data entry, insurance verification, and collaboration with the Billing/Clinical teams. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environments preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred based on site location.
• Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients and staff.
• Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills (≈55 wpm).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Coordinate patient intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system.
• Assist patients with paperwork.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer calls and inquiries promptly and politely.
• Process medical insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Handle cash and co-pays accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
