Job summary

District Photo Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Seasonal Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability of mechanical and electrical systems in our factory. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs using PLC knowledge and basic PC skills, including Office 365.

You will work with a team to install and set up new equipment, document activities, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including reading schematics and manuals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• Basic PC skills, including Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues; diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain records of maintenance, parts used, and work completed.
• Assist in installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring safety and proper functionality.
• Collaborate with technicians and departments to improve equipment reliability.
• Use PLC knowledge to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
