Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a dependable Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. You will move parts, operate a forklift, and ensure safe, efficient deliveries to assembly areas while adhering to ERP workflows and quality standards.

Working with production teams, you will help maximize workflow, perform routine equipment inspections, and participate in safety programs. A collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience handling materials and operating equipment in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Move and deliver warehoused parts to assembly areas to support production.
• Operate a forklift or similar equipment and perform daily inspections.
• Collaborate with production lines to optimize use of people, materials, and equipment.
• Follow standard work and ERP system processes; assist in training others as needed.
• Support Drive to Zero safety initiatives and participate in team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for all material handling needs, primarily picking warehoused parts, and delivering to assembly areas to ensure efficient production.
• Work closely with production lines to ensure full utilization of people, materials, and equipment to meet customer demand.
• The Material Handler will be required to achieve company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
• Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport materials within the facility.
• Develop a good knowledge of the company and may be assigned to projects for career development.
• Learn the principles, practices, and processes in the function or discipline.
• May resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.
• Contacts are typically with immediate supervisor and other members of the team in the immediate organization.
• Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
• Perform forklift daily inspections.
• Participate in team meetings and exchange job related information.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, attendance, and quality.
• Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
• Practice safe working habits, following safety guidelines to operation and support of company initiatives.
• Know the basic functions of the ERP system.
• May assist in training new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
• Actively understand and participate with the Drive to Zero program.
• Other duties as assigned.
