Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Holland America Skagway Inn in Alaska. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and ensure safe, clean, and fully operational hotel environments for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, record-keeping, and clear communication with team members and guests. A valid US work status and physical ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Able to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines and policies.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs./23 kg and working on feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Routinely performs maintenance inspections, checks, and daily rounds.
• Performs various entry-level maintenance tasks and supports preventive/corrective work.
• Records updates in logs and software, and communicates repair status to staff and guests.
• Interacts with employees and guests by providing information about local areas and hotel services.
• Operates handheld radios and coordinates repair calls and follow-ups.
