The role requires experience in upscale service, a polished appearance, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic team at Saks Global. An exceptional guest experience is the primary goal.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a high-end, premium, or upscale food and beverage environment following strict table service guidelines.
• Service Mastery: Thorough knowledge of upscale order of service guidelines, fine dining table setups, and common culinary and beverage terminology.
• Interpersonal Excellence: Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills, with a natural ability to interface graciously with a premium clientele.
• Scheduling Flexibility: Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by premium retail and hospitality business needs.

Responsibilities

• Gracious hospitality: managing table pacing and interacting with guests in a highly attentive, professional, and sophisticated manner.
• Epicurean expertise: describe dishes, explain daily specials, and handle dietary restrictions with confidence.
• Beverage craft: offer tailored wine, beer, and spirits pairings and ensure flawless beverage service.
• Station operations: perform pre-shift, post-shift, daily and weekly side-work duties as directed by management.
• Table settings and upkeep: ensure proper setup according to brand guidelines and maintain a spotless dining area.
