Job summary

Gosnaphop is seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Coordinator in Chicago for a high‑volume seasonal period. You will coordinate daily shipping, communicate with providers, monitor deliveries, and resolve transport issues to ensure on‑time, accurate orders.

Ideal candidates have logistics or supply chain experience, strong customer service, and proficiency in SAP and Excel. Fridays remote with Mon–Thu onsite; medical/dental/vision/401(k) benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience using SAP is required.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables & VLOOKUP.
• Previous customer service experience with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight movements and work with transportation providers to meet delivery expectations.
• Review outstanding orders, carrier assignments and schedules to identify delays.
• Confirm carrier availability and capacities to support orders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address shipping concerns and keep operations smooth.
• Act as a point of contact for transportation partners and provide shipment updates.
• Respond to customer inquiries with accurate delivery status information.
• Track transportation metrics like delivery performance and carrier reliability.
• Evaluate shipping options based on cost, routing, and customer needs.
• Assist with freight billing questions and transportation-related claims.
• Collect and maintain shipping documentation (bills of lading, proof of delivery, certificates).
• Support transportation contract administration and keep carrier docs current.
• Use SAP and Excel to review logistics data and support reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Provide additional administrative support to the transportation team as needed.
