Job summary

Montauk Lodge in Montauk State Park seeks a friendly front-of-house team member for a seasonal role. Responsibilities include taking orders via POS, delivering food and drinks, bussing tables, and ensuring accurate cash handling.

You will operate in a rustic resort setting with the chance to support guests during peak periods and special events. Requirements include High school diploma or equivalent and ServSafe certification, plus the ability to work day, night, weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and people skills required.
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to count change and reconcile paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take orders from guests and submit to kitchen using POS software.
• Deliver food and drinks, bus tables or assist busser/runner as needed.
• Ensure beverages are served per regulations and company procedures.
• Provide timely, courteous service to guests throughout the meal service.
• Set tables, polish glasses, prepare workstations and perform side work as assigned.
• Prepare sales and tip reports at shift end and deposit receipts.
