Job summary

W-L Construction and Paving Inc, a CRH company, seeks a Loader Operator to support asphalt plant operations in Virginia. You will safely operate a loader, manage material inventory, assist with plant maintenance, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment across multiple local plant locations.

The role requires the ability to work independently or in a team, willingness to overtime, weekends, and varying shifts, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence in all weather

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Previous loader/ heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Subject to post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and other drug and alcohol testing as permitted by company policy and applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a wheel loader to move, stockpile, and load materials in support of asphalt plant operations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and perform routine equipment checks.
• Maintain material inventory and ensure adequate supply of aggregates and other raw materials.
• Travel and work between multiple local plant locations as business needs require.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
