Job summary

National Western in Denver, CO seeks a Seasonal Livestock Office Assistant to manage calls, emails, entries, DNA orders, and exhibitor packets during the January stock show. You'll support livestock operations, coordinate shipments, and draft contracts and notices.

You will report to the Executive Director of Agriculture Events & Competitions, work mornings/evenings/weekends during the 16 Stock Show days, maintain records in systems, and provide customer service to exhibitors, judges, vendors,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year administrative/office experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: answer calls, monitor voicemail, respond to inquiries, manage emails, and prepare correspondence and reports.
• Event and Show Operations Support: assist with planning livestock shows, registrations, prizes, and on-site operations.
• Data Management and Reporting: maintain records in systems, track orders and entries, generate reports.
• Additional Responsibilities: support timetables, cross-functional event prep, and other duties as assigned.
