Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead camp dining operations at on-site facilities across the country. This hands-on, live-in role requires strong leadership to manage culinary tasks, staff, budgets, and allergen safety.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume camp environment, ensuring quality, safety, and timely meal service while coordinating with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required) before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, budgeting abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen environments, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee daily culinary operations, budget management, and allergen safety.
• Ensure adherence to health department sanitation standards and allergen protocols.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as the main liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
