The position offers $15 - $18 per hour, based on experience, with discretionary bonus and training opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to work outside in farm environments.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the positions.
• Walk on uneven ground at the farm locations.
• Must be able to work overtime during harvest season.
• Strong communication skills with team members and management.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Remove foreign material and non-standard product from processing equipment as directed.
• Work the conveyor line ensuring potatoes are graded to standards and sorted.
• Follow tasks and directions given by crew leader.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
• Assist in maintaining buildings and equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies, and employee handbook requirements.
• Present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms to customers and community.
• Participate in company-sponsored training to develop skills and knowledge.
• Maintain a positive, professional relationship with peers and leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management efficiently.

We are looking for multiple Seasonal Line Workers at our Ripley, MN and Royalton, MN locations. The primary responsibility of R.D. Offutt Farms Seasonal Line Worker is to contribute to the farm labor and operations during harvest. Duties may involve grading potatoes, cleaning, shipping, and other duties as assigned.

$15 - $18 / hour (based on experience)

Job Duties

• Remove foreign material and non-standard product from processing equipment as directed
• Work the conveyor line ensuring potatoes are graded to various standards and sorted
• Follow tasks and directions given by crew leader
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members
• Assist in the maintenance of buildings and equipment ensuring they are in appropriate condition
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
