Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms is seeking a Seasonal Line Worker to support farm labor during harvest. Duties include grading potatoes, operating on the conveyor line to sort by standards, and assisting with general duties as assigned.

Candidates must have reliable transportation, be willing to work outdoors, meet physical requirements, and be able to work overtime during harvest. Valid US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Remove foreign material and non-standard product from processing equipment as directed.
• Work the conveyor line ensuring potatoes are graded to various standards and sorted.
• Follow tasks and directions given by crew leader.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
• Assist in maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Follow safety rules and company policies as specified in manuals and handbooks.
• Present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms in public.
• Seek and participate in company-sponsored training to develop skills.
• Maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, and support resources.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

The primaryresponsibility of R.D. Offutt Farms Seasonal Line Worker is to contribute to the farm labor and operations during harvest. Duties may involve grading potatoes, cleaning, shipping, and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Remove foreign material and non-standard product from processing equipment as directed
• Work the conveyor line ensuring potatoes are graded to various standards and sorted
• Follow tasks and directions given by crew leader
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members
• Assist in the maintenance of buildings and equipment ensuring they are in appropriate condition
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
