Job summary

Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resort is seeking a Lift Operations Lead for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. You will oversee the Lift Experience Team, ensuring safe operation of resort lifts and delivering courteous guest service.

Starting wage ranges from $22.00 to $29.22 per hour, with full-time hours available on weekends and holidays. Applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to work outdoors in all weather while standing and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of previous lift or mountain operations experience required.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of resort lifts such as scheduling staff and procedures for opening and closing lifts.
• Assist with hiring, support, and training of operators and scanners in daily operations and safety.
• Monitor and document lift operator performance and behavior, providing feedback and direction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, policies, and procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Work with ski patrol, mountain safety, lift maintenance, and lift electric to resolve issues.
• Promote clean and organized workstations.
