Job summary

Sugarloaf is seeking a Lift Operations Supervisor to oversee daily work of Lift Operators and Operators in Charge, with a focus on safety and on-hill problem solving. This is a full-time seasonal role with access to resort activities and a starting wage of $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience.

If you enjoy outdoor work in a beautiful mountain setting with a dedicated team, this is the job for you. Previous ski resort leadership experience is valued.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a lift operator.
• Must be able to ski or ride, operate a snowmobile, and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Confirms lift status for the day
• Manages staff arrival
• Transports staff and equipment as needed
• Assists with morning set-up and line checks throughout the day
• Performs on the job training and lift inspections
• Responsible for employee conflict resolution
• Assists other mountain departments as needed to provide quality product and service
