Job summary

Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resort is hiring for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 as an Equipment Operator. The role involves operating a variety of mountain and utility equipment to maintain slopes, perform routine repairs, and support Mt. Ops staff.

The position requires prior heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Starting wage ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Previous heavy equipment experience required.
• Previous guest service experience required.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Ability to work outside in a high alpine environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine maintenance to slopes and operate equipment (Skid Steers, Forklifts, Backhoes).
• Monitor equipment and coordinate with Vehicle Maintenance.
• Perform physical labor as part of the Mt. Ops team.
• Take directions and work as part of a team.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Other duties as assigned.
