Job summary

Great Escape and Great Escape Lodge in Town of Queensbury, NY seeks a groundskeeper to maintain lawns and landscapes across the park, including mulching, mowing, planting, pruning, and bed maintenance. You will also assist guests with questions while keeping safety and PPE standards.

The role involves transporting décor, watering routines, and supporting team members, with paid training and opportunities to advance. Daily Pay and free park admission are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing and removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.
• Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and weed whackers.
• Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs.
• Prune, trim, and remove trees, shrubs, and hedges.
• Trim and pick flowers, and clean flowerbeds.
• Transport décor throughout the park.
• Water lawns, trees, and plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.
• Transport team members and equipment to job sites.
• Comply with all Great Escape Resort policies and procedures.
• Assist Guests with general questions as well as any other guest concerns.
• Operate in a safe manner while utilizing proper PPE.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.
• Follow all delegated tasks assigned by supervisors and/or other members of management.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
