Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Scheduling flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare sample analyses according to SOP for designated tests to ensure quality results.
• Calibrate basic laboratory instrumentation according to SOP.
• Thoroughly complete appropriate documentation.
• Report results of analysis in a timely manner according to standard turn-times.
• Perform routine laboratory procedures such as cleaning of labware and workspaces.
• Promote and adhere to safety in the workplace.
• Use PPE as required; follow safe procedures and report unsafe conditions and injuries.
• Inspect own work area and take approved remedial action to minimize hazards.
• Complete required safety training assignments, forms and paperwork.
