Job summary

Medical City Arlington, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery for the Seasonal program. The RN delivers professional care in the Fetal Diagnostic Center and Labor and Delivery, conducts assessments, and follows the Nursing Process.

Responsibilities include managing patient flow, educating patients and families on medications, and administering meds per physician orders.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (TX Board of Nurse Examiners; compact license accepted).
• Current BLS-Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in Labor and Delivery/Fetal Diagnostic Center following Nursing Process.
• Manage efficient patient flow including screening and exam preparation.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions; administer medications as ordered.
