Job summary

Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Seasonal Steward to maintain clean dishes, pots and utensils, and to help reset the kitchen for the next shift. The role requires reliable teamwork and a positive, professional image.

You will provide impeccable guest service, assist cooks and servers, follow health and sanitation guidelines, and may be assigned to various venues across the property based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform the physical job duties of all Steward team members.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and flatware to ensure availability of clean dishes.
• Reset the kitchen for the next shift by ensuring that kitchen and equipment are clean and ready to use.
• Always present a friendly and professional image at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.
• Provide impeccable guest service and support superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
• Follow health and sanitation guidelines and assist cooks and servers as needed.
• Stock cleaning supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Set up banquet kitchen for events and assist with tables and buffets.
