Job summary

Sun Outdoors at Grand Lake RV Resort in Citra, FL is seeking a part-time seasonal Cook to join our kitchen team. Cooks prepare a variety of items and operate grills, ovens and fryers while keeping the area clean and compliant with Health Department rules.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months of prior restaurant cook experience, basic computer skills, a food handling certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of previous restaurant cook experience is required.
• Basic computer skills, including email and internet use.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food using grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Performs shift opening/closing duties and equipment cleanup.
• Maintains clean, sanitary kitchen and reports maintenance issues.
• Stocks products as needed and assists with daily specials and menu planning.
• Other duties as assigned by Restaurant Manager.
