Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Seasonal Journeyman Mechanic to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, troubleshooting diesel/gasoline propulsion systems and related components.

Must have tool set and a valid US driver’s license. Starting pay is $40.14 per hour; we offer weekly pay, comprehensive benefits after probation, and opportunities for training in a Fortune 500 environment.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. driver’s license is required.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems.
• Willing to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts including varied weekends.
• Must possess the hand tools to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles and tractors.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
• Operate standard and manual transmissions and use power tools as needed.
• Meet DOT requirements and adhere to safety practices.
