Job summary

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences seeks an Academy Support Agent to assist members and the public with IT-related inquiries. You will respond to phone calls and emails, help users access voting, streaming, dues, and login processes, and document interactions in CRM.

This part-time, seasonal role requires strong English communication, 3+ days per week availability, and adaptability to peak Oscar-season periods. On-site at Pickford.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Information Technology, Business Administration, Film/Media Studies, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in customer service, technical support, or member services.
• Intermediate proficiency with Salesforce, Airtable, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in fluent English with attention to detail.
• Agile team player with ability to pivot quickly amid shifting priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Availability to work a minimum of three full days per week, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends during peak Oscar season.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone calls and emails from Academy members and the public.
• Assist users with accessing and navigating the Academy’s online platforms (voting, streaming, paying dues, login).
• Interface with the Senior Manager, Technical Support to communicate member needs.
• Maintain understanding of Academy platforms to communicate instructions effectively.
• Log and track each member interaction in CRM and coordinate with IT as needed.
• Reroute inquiries to correct department as appropriate.
• Participate in training sessions to learn new platforms.
• Support other related tasks as assigned.
