Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse for a seasonal PRN role in Addison, TX. The assignment runs from September 20, 2026 to April 3, 2027, with a pay rate of $62/hour.

Seasonal RNs must work at least 72 hours per pay period and may float to close-by facilities to cover emergent needs. Four weekend shifts are required every four weeks, and two holiday shifts are required during the 32-week period.

Qualifications

• 1+ year ICU experience required
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN license and Associate Degree required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Documents care in the medical record in a timely, thorough manner.
• Educates patients/families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Collaborates with physicians and care team to implement a holistic treatment plan.
• Supports continuous quality improvement and adherence to standards.
