Job summary
Alterra Mountain Company is seeking an HR Assistant for Palisades Tahoe to support onboarding, new hire paperwork, data entry, and HR projects. Qualifications
- Onboarding new employees and paperwork processing.
- Accurate data entry and HRIS maintenance.
- Respond to employment questions with excellent service.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws during onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist new and current employees; provide employment information.
- Answer phones, emails, tickets; support high-volume walk-ins.
- Verify identity for I-9 forms; request work permits; stay compliant.
- Data entry for new hires and returning staff; maintain records.
